Amos 7:14-16

14 So Amos answered Amaziah, “I was[a] not a prophet or the son of a prophet;[b](A) rather, I was[c] a herdsman,(B) and I took care of sycamore figs. 15 But the Lord took me from following the flock(C) and said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’”(D)

16 Now hear the word of the Lord. You say:

Do not prophesy(E) against Israel;
do not preach(F) against the house of Isaac.
